All current Company/OCPRO dancers and students currently taking classes at OCPAA will be sent all information.

Novice to Intermediate/Ages 5+
July 28-31: Company Master Classes (mandatory to audition) – in the morning

OCPRO
Advanced/Ages 7+
July 28-31: OCPRO Master Classes (mandatory to audition) – in the morning
August 1-2: OCPRO 2025/2026 Season Auditions
OCPRO vs Company
OCPRO is designated advanced level competition groups with advanced level dancers ranging from ages 7-18 that attend 3-4 conventions (examples: Velocity, Hollywood Vibe, Jump, etc.), 1-2 traditional competitions and 1 nationals.
Company is composed of novice to high intermediate level dancers ages 5-18. Company groups will attend 3-4 traditional competitions (examples: KAR, Hall of Fame, Showbiz, Showstopper, etc.), 1 convention and 1 nationals.
OCPRO or Company? At auditions, all dancers will be evaluated for placement in OCPRO groups and Company groups. If you make OCPRO groups you will follow the OCPRO competition schedule, or, if you are placed in Company groups, you will follow the Company competition schedule.
*Current OCPAA Company dancers may not apply to OCPRO auditions unless they are invited to do so.
*Current OCPRO dancers are evaluated at each new season’s auditions to determine if they will be placed on OCPRO or Company.
*Any new dancers to OCPAA who apply and audition for OCPRO may be placed on Company.
Placement on a Company or OCPRO team is dependent on there being an appropriate age and skill level team where the dancer fits
Unable to Attend Auditions?
If you are unable to attend all or part of auditions you still must complete registration and pay audition fees. You will be able to indicate on the application that the dancer will not be attending the auditions. The studio will contact you about a private audition (additional fee applies) and next steps.
